Under the direction of founder, Shena Clarke, a multi-disciplinary designer, she offers an uncommon range of creative skills that provide clients with a truly personalized and resourceful design experience. From custom content creation, creative direction, photography, art & illustration, hand lettering, branding, and web development, DawsonClarke delivers a unique and authentic touch to every design.
SHENA CLARKE
Born in Japan and raised in Oakland, California, Shena comes from a humble background that's rich in Japanese and African American heritage. Her background, life experiences and family's strong work ethic influence her art and design aesthetics, personability, and approach to business.
Shena studied graphic design and illustration at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.
And has spent over 20 years creating for clients in advertising, publishing, healthcare, restaurant,
and the performing arts industries. She is committed to extracting what clients want to communicate and translating their thoughts into captivating visuals that perfectly embody the essence of their
brand message.
Shena lives in Manhattan with her husband and their two daughters. She loves being a mom, listening to old-school R&B, cooking, traveling, and reading self-help books.
